Our practice also supports Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) for eligible candidates. For your convenience, we maintain offices in both Sheridan and Gillette to ensure accessible local care.

Is Homebirth Safe?
For low-risk pregnancies, home birth is a safe and clinically supported option. At Rose Midwife, 89% of clients who begin care with us go on to have a planned home birth. Our overall transfer rate is 17%, with the majority of transfers (85%) occurring prenatally, and a smaller portion (13%) occurring during labor. What if Something Goes Wrong?
While every birth involves inherent risks regardless of location, Rose Midwife prioritizes your safety through ongoing clinical assessments. Our team arrives fully equipped with essential medical supplies and emergency tools, drawing upon advanced training and education to navigate and manage potential labor complications. Should a hospital transfer be required during labor, we will remain by your side to ensure a seamless transition.
What is the Cost? Do you take Insurance/Medicaid?
Our comprehensive midwifery package is $5500, covering 14 prenatal visits, complete labor and delivery support, and 4 postpartum checkups. We accept Medicaid and can bill most private insurance as an out-of-network provider. Optional tub rentals are $150 and newborn screenings are $250. Long term interest free payment plans available.
How is Pain Managed at Home?
It might surprise you, but the intensity of labor is felt quite differently when you are held in the safety and familiarity of your own home. While birth requires deep strength, it is beautifully supported through unrestricted movement, eating and drinking as desired, TENS therapy, massage, and hydrotherapy in birth tubs and showers.
